Kamo River

Kamo River is a big river running through Kyoto city.

On the riverside, everyone is doing what they love to do.

Some people are chatting, some are playing trumpet, some are walking with their dog, some are reading, some are sleeping.

Everyone can feel relaxed at Kamo River, so everyone loves this river.

ーEqual interval at Kamo River
At night, on the riverside near the Sanjo bridge or the Shijo bridge, many groups sit at equal interval.　This sight is called ”Kamogawa To-Kankaku”, equal interval at Kamo River.
They are not to be forced to sit in that way, and it is unclear why they sit like that, but it is thought to be charming sight unique to the KamoRiver.
